A round hanging loop resides at the top of the frame. On the inside, you’ll find a candle which is powered by 3 AAA batteries (not included). This provides extra longevity to the candle, in addition to relieving recipients of having to deal with dripping wax. A power switch with three settings is included. The settings include on, off, and timer. The timer setting causes the lantern to light up for 5 hours at the same time each day.

These custom made in memory lanterns are 4 inches wide by 9⅜ inches high. Each one is engraved with your personalized text in up to 2 lines. Both lines hold up to 25 characters. Above them, standard engraved text is included.
